There are two boxes on top of the page and a tape-recorder-like button Show. They allow to select a range of messages. Note that every message in the printable view has a number. Use those numbers to fill out the boxes on top to set up the first and the last message you want to be printed, and press the Show button to rearrange the messages. Another way to set a range is to put a negative number in the second box, which will mean that you want -n of messages to be printed. For example, 4 7 will output messages 4, 5, 6, 7. However if you enter values 4 -7 in first and second box respectively, messages 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 will be shown after you press the rewind button.

How to print only one message? - Advanced range selection
First, go to the printable view of the topic by pressing the Printer button in the topic view. Find your message and note the number in the left of it. Type that number into the first box in the top left of the printable view. In the second box put value -1 and press the Show button. This will tell the database to output only one message starting from the given one. Another way of getting this result is by putting the same number in both boxes. Let's say you want to print only the message number 16. Fill out the boxes in the top as such: 16 -1 and press the go button Show. Instead of 16 and -1 you could as well enter 16 and 16. The result will be the same. This example will work only if there are at least sixteen messages in the current topic, of course.

¿Para que sirve el boton :| |: ? Para cancelar la paginacion del tablero.

Con dar un click en este boton tu puedes anular localmente la paginacion estandar del tema actual para facilitarle a tu navegador el hacer una paginacion adecuada para imprimir el tema elegido basandose en el espaciado de lineas real de tu impresora, mas que en el limite de mensajes por pagina que tenga el foro, (esto es, cada pagina de impresion se ajustara de acuerdo a la impresora y el navegador y no a como el foro divide las paginas).


¿Que son las casillas de texto en la parte superior derecha de vista de
impresion? Es la seleccion de rangos.

Cuando elegimos el boton de impresora en un tema, vemos la pagina de la vista de impresion, hay dos casillas de texto en lo alto y a la derecha de dicha pagina y un boton con la leyenda "Show". Con esto se puede seleccionar un rango de mensajes. Cada mensaje en la vista de impresion tiene un numero. Estos numeros se usan para indicar en las casillas de texto el numero del primer y ultimo mensaje que se desea imprimir. Presionando el boton "Show" los mensajes se ordenaran de acuerdo a la seleccion. Otra forma de fijar un rango es colocar un numero negativo en la segunda casilla, lo cual significa que uno desea que -n desde mensajes van a ser impresos. Por ejemplo, colocando 4 y 7 en la primer y segunda casilla significa que uno desea imprimir los mensajes 4, 5, 6, y 7. Pero, si uno digita 4 en la primer casilla y -7 en la segunda respectivamente, los mensajes 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 y 10 seran presentados luego de presionar el boton "Show", es decir, 7 mensajes.



¿Como imprimir solo un mensaje? - La seleccion avanzada de rangos.

Primero, hay que ir a la vista de impresion del tema presionando el boton de la impresora en el marco del tema. Se busca el mensaje y se anota el numero a la izquierda (señalado con el simbolo # n). Se digita el numero en la primer casilla de texto en el extremo superior izquierdo de la vista de impresion. En la segunda casilla de texto se digita el valor -1 y se presiona el boton "Show". Esto esto le indica a la base de datos del foro que se esta pidiendo solo el mensaje que queremos. Otra forma de lograr esto es digitar el mismo numero en ambas casillas. Por ejemplo, si queremos imprimir el mensaje numero 16 (# 16). Primero rellenamos las dos casillas de texto con los valores 16 y -1 respectivamente, entonces hacemos click en el boton "Show". De otra forma, se podria digitar en amas casillas 16 y 16. El resultado sera el mismo. Este ejemplo por supuesto solo funciona si se tienen 16 mensajes en el tema, ojo.
